Gust Over The Plains’ hopes to evoke a sense of inner strength and energy, in muted earthy tones for gentle calmness in the bedroom, while injecting vibrancy and liveliness to the space, as how all home dwellers endeavor to build their nests reflecting individuality and warmth.
A visual artist by training, Geraldine graduated from the School of Art Design & Media (ADM) at Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in animation and visual effects.
Geraldine is intrigued by traditional art mediums and expressive forms and their unique tactile qualities, hence her body of work is created predominantly in mediums like acrylic paint, pastels,
and graphite. Geraldine pursued the path of an art educator for 5 years before transitioning to a freelance botanical artist and interior stylist and content creator
Inspired by elements of nature and physical experiences and sensations evoked by memories, she creates enlarged botanical mural paintings for interiors, and commissions abstract expressionist paintings in signature earth tones. With a portfolio of both residential and commercial projects, Geraldine’s creative work also extends beyond painting and into artistic collaborations with like-minded brands, with foray into art direction and conceptualization, collaborative marketing, and having her art on different product forms. Using content creation as a method of bringing cohesion and spotlight to her work, Geraldine shares her art, lifestyle, and interior inspirations on social media under the moniker ‘Ochre Home’
